I have often wondered if spiritual intelligence can help in a business setting? We are all familiar with the impact of emotional intelligence in leadership. Emotional intelligence makes us better leaders and helps us improve our responses to different situations.
On the other hand, spiritual intelligence is often associated with non business people, those who are preaching spirituality and not the practicing leaders in business. There is probably some truth to that but does it have to be confined to only those individuals?
I believe spiritual intelligence can help in business as well. A leader who is spiritually intelligent would probably readily recognize and support a cause that has impact on human kind. He or she may not make decision based on what is good for few people, instead based on what is good for larger number of people.
